GIT Commercial Photography

The GIT Commercial Photography Studio at ASU is located in the Applied Arts Pavilion on the Polytechnic campus. The studio is designed as a complete working professional photographic studio outfitted with professional quality digital cameras and lighting equipment.

The imaging focus area is one of the 4 main focus areas of the Graphic Information Technology degree, located on the Polytechnic Campus at Arizona State University.

From beginning commercial photography to advanced, from technical imaging to creative open lab, students learn problem solving with commercial grade equipment and lean to produce a photograph  according to client parameters. Students learn to see photographically and create elegantly designed images, understand how to work with photographers, plan for advertising campaigns and deliver assets with appropriate copyright and digital rights management in mind.

The studio is available for hire for commercial shoots internally at ASU and for nonprofits within the community. All shoots are student led.
