Penny Ann Dolin

Penny Ann Dolin has over 30 years of photography experience. Initially working as a photojournalist for The New York Times, Newsday, The Boston Globe and more, she developed invaluable location photography skills. As founder and principal photographer at Silver Sight Studio (Stamford, CT and Scottsdale, AZ), she shot for corporate/industrial and architectural clients. She continues her association with the commercial photography industry through her involvement with ASMP and student internships. Students studying commercial photography within the GIT major, in addition to developing the ability to create quality images, are exposed to all facets of the industry – including studio management, hiring practices and how to work with photographers from an art directors perspective. Prof. Dolin also offers classes in technical imaging. She has been a contributing lecturer at the MIT Professional Short Course, “High-Speed Imaging for Motion Analysis”.
